Breakfast with veal at Grüne Woche

VanDrie Group welcomes outgoing agriculture minister Adema.

The Grüne Woche opened today and to mark the occasion, our chef Edgar Buhrs prepared a breakfast of veal from a cooked veal top bit for the opening of this international fair in Berlin. Ruth Bouwstra, director Corporate Affairs & Quality and Edgar Buhrs welcomed outgoing agriculture minister Piet Adema to the VanDrie Group stand for a breakfast of veal.

During the fair, Edgar demonstrated the versatility of veal at the VanDrie Group stand. Its delicate flavour and low fat content make it suitable for braising, roasting and grilling. Edgar will prepare different cuts each day, including veal liver, sweetbreads, osso buco, schnitzel and oyster. Visitors to the Grüne Woche can taste these on the stand.
